Hello, I love you, can you tell me your name?

After telling us to think before we speak and extolling the virtues of personal hygiene, Chris Robinson sang, “Nobody, no one, nowhere is gonna find you if you don’t get yourself lost.”  While the first two pieces of advice are helpful for anyone interested in being an acceptable human being, the third is crucial to life.  Get caught up in something.  Make new discoveries.  Find meaning in something, anything.
That is why the Black Crowes’ B-side “Darling Of The Underground Press” is the namesake of this blog.  For both of us, music has that special something that makes us want to get lost, discover something and find meaning.  Putting aside any delusions of grandeur, we are not the darlings of the underground press, merely a guy from outside of Philadelphia and a girl from north Jersey trying to make sense of the notes and words of our favorite musicians.
Here, we'll review shows, albums and happenings in the music world, bringing you music and artists we love to get caught up in (and occasionally, maybe a few we hate) along with some guest bloggers to add new perspective to our classic-rock-loving natural tendencies.

So, hello, we love you - tell us your name. Welcome to the Darlings of the Underground Press.
